Queer Craft Club

Queer Craft Club is a bring-your-own-craft meetup group for queer and trans folks in and around NYC. Meetups are open to LGBTQIA2S+ crafters of any medium and any level and provide a relaxed social environment to work on projects and connect with community.

QCC was born in May 2021 out of the need for in-person queer community spaces outside of the nightlife scene. Inspired by local groups like NYC Queer Birders, I wrote an ad on the app Lex looking for other queer and trans crafters who were interested in meeting up to work on projects together. The encouraging response led to the start of our instagram page and a week later we had our first meetup.
